The Web3Tel call model rests on another fundamental component of the Web3Tel converged service layer - the adaptive call routing component. The adaptive call routing enables dynamic automated policy-based selection of the route and direction of a call leg, transparently to the user. The route selection policies operate on the data about the terminal type (fixed or mobile), mobile service plan and tariffs, location of the mobile terminal relative to its home area (roaming, long distance), etc. - in purpose of minimizing the cost of communications. Actually, the adaptive call routing capability is that "great equalizer" that makes the uniformity of the Web3Tel call model particularly useful: it sets the user free of the cost considerations allowing to care just of the communications content.
The Web3Tel converged service layer is integrated with most popular smart phone platforms, including Blackberry, iPhone, Windows Mobile, Android and others.

Web3Tel Solution Deployment - Enterprise Alternative
Web3Tel offers flexible solution deployment options for the enterprises ranging from a completely owned and managed by the enterprise CPE-based system to a fully outsourced service hosted by Web3Tel. The choice of the deployment option depends on the enterprise IT/telecom strategy, nature of the business, the enterprise topology (multi-site, international), etc.

The hosted service option is ideal for small businesses and new business entrants as a ``pay-as-you-go`` solution allowing to avoid the up-front CAPEX and manage the associated OPEX at the business growth pace. The hosted service option can be employed by companies having a telecom infrastructure (PBX or UC system) already in place, via SIP trunk integration. Alternatively, the Web3Tel hosted service can provide a complete telecom solution for all company needs. Similarly, the CPE-based deployment can be an add-on to the existing company PBX or UC system or integrated with the IP-Centrex like solutions from telecom carriers or internet telephony service providers (ITSP).
